  1. I have often in life kept a gratitude journal. I usually start keeping one when I feel sorry for myself. Here are the 5 things I am grateful for today:
    1. The presence of a higher power in my life: Everything happens for a reason.
    2. Growing older: I am astonished how much I've learned and grown as a person in just the last few years.
    3. My Children: The joy and laughter they bring cannot be calculated.
    4. My Sister: Her perspective helps to keep me grounded.
    5. My Husband: He may not always understand why I need to do the things I do (particularly creatively) but he always supports me when I need to do them.
    I am BLESSED. Please share what you are grateful for today.
